My opinion
I found in There was something in the dark not seen , everything I loved in Death of a perfect bilingual
- a modern language and effective ,
- an amorality assumed,
- crazy characters at best and at worst very disturbing through all possible variations in the records as victims or psychopathic one has the impression that the world is binary Gunzig, populated by those / those who kill on one side and those / those dying of another, without that, ever, the dash seems Manichean or caricature
- pervasive despair in the sense that it does there can be a happy ending to the stories of the collection.
This last point brings me to a finding also heartening and troubling: Gunzig Thomas has the talent to finish his new special on the unspoken when everything is already played and that what follows is the end point perfectly clear. Therefore begins, the reader nurse finds himself in the position to view these scenes, imagining them in all their horror and ... gets!
Although I enjoyed Carbowaterstoemp ( mentioned yesterday), this collection is far superior in my opinion by the density texts, by their construction implaccable and lasting impression that they print while reading.
