Those who know me have noticed my affection for books Danielle Elisseeff that I never fail to recommend and to include in my bibliography. This blog also betrayed my taste for his writings on Huang Jialu 黄嘉 略 or Arcade Huang and what Me, arcade, Chinese interpreter of the Sun King. It it always finds the same pleasure with the meaning of the phrase and writing accurate and concise as the specialist in Chinese art is so generously in the service of presenting a fascinating period in history.
